Finally watched finish the whole of Basilisk, and the ending is sad. And yes, very sad. Did I cried? Yes. I rarely cry while watching anime. (The other one that I cried in was Air) Well, I cried not only in the ending, but also when Okoi, Hyoma & Hotarubi died.
Well, at least Gennosuke & Oboro died together in each other arms and are finally together.
Each character is unique and their personaility and development is wonderful. Not only that, each of their backstory is great too.
Basilisk is one story I'm gonna remember, a very sad yet beautiful anime. Awesome action too.

I heard that "Y+M" is sort of a sequel of Basilisk, and it's manga can actually be bought in my local Comics connection store. =D But it's rated M-18. O_O
